Bowling Our Way to Stronger Team

 

🎳 At Mercurtrade, teamwork is at the heart of everything we do. With a big team spread across four countries, staying connected takes effort, but fortunately working on it is a lot of fun! Our Bratislava office makes teamwork a priority with regular game nights, bringing colleagues together beyond the workplace. Usually, it’s board games or video games, but this time, we decided to shake things up – by taking our skills to the bowling lanes! 

 

🎯 Pins, Points, and Plenty of Fun 

What started as a casual idea quickly turned into a pretty big tournament, with 15 team members joining in for three hours of strikes, spares, and a few (unfortunate) gutter balls. Whether seasoned pros or first-time bowlers, everyone brought their A-game, making for an evening full of great shots, surprising comebacks, and plenty of laughs.

Of course, no competition is complete without awards! In addition to a medal for the top scorer, we handed out some creative honors, including: 

  • 🏆 Highest Score – Thomas 

  • 📈 Most Improved – Juraj 

  • 🏅 Most Unique Bowling Ball Throw– Miky 

 

🎉 More Than Just a Game 

A strong team is built on more than just skill – it’s about trust, support, and shared experiences. And sometimes, the best way to strengthen that connection is simply by having a great time together. Whether we’re working across time zones or celebrating in person, these moments remind us that teamwork is about more than just the work. 

One thing is certain, we’re already looking forward to the next game night. Maybe a rematch is in order?
