As a Supplier Quality Manager, he ensures that every part, process, and production line meets the high standards our customers rely on—across China and beyond. Fluent in Chinese, English, and German, Thomas plays a key role in bridging cultures and keeping operations aligned. 

🔍 Hands-On, Detail-Driven 
Each morning, Thomas starts his day by checking for urgent issues and resolving them immediately. Then, it’s about setting priorities, although his work is rarely routine. Thomas is frequently on-site at supplier facilities across China, doing quality checks, solving problems firsthand, and ensuring production stays smooth and stable. “Even the smallest change at a supplier—like changing a tool or a small process step—can have a huge impact,” he explains. “You have to be careful about every detail.” 

✅ Keeping Quality on Track 
Thomas and his team of supplier quality engineers don’t just react to issues—they build systems that prevent problems before they start. Each supplier has a clear visit plan, with regular follow-ups and issue tracking until problems are fully resolved. When preparing for audits or customer visits, Thomas coordinates everything in advance, down to the smallest detail. “Manufacturing takes patience,” he says, “but it’s full of moments that feel like real achievement.” 

🏓 Quiet Focus, Big Responsibilities 
Outside of work, Thomas unwinds with billiards and table tennis, hobbies he laughs about (“I’m not that good!”) but he appreciates for the quiet concentration these games require. And at home, Thomas shifts gears into another full-time role: dad to three kids—something quite rare in China. It’s a different kind of challenge, but one that also rewards focus, patience, and a sense of humor.
